Well, we’re stealing a line from Bob Vela’s playbook and we’re going to save this old house.
Here she is, in all her resplendent glory. Can’t see it? I can’t blame you. But her faded Queen Anne facade is one of the few still left on the street of this historic little mountain town. She’s also the only one nestled into a swath of woods without immediate neighbors. The brambles protect heirloom poppies which bloom among the goldenrod and ragweed. The original steps show their construction with found field stone to match the garden wall. She’s a diamond in the VERY rough.
